Day 4: Athens, Greece

My fourth day in Greece is spent in Athens in the Acropolis.

Since Athens is such a huge city and main attraction I decided to stay here for two days to truly be able to take as much as I can from my trip.

The first day in Athens, I spent at the Acropolis and some of the smaller sites surrounding it. We didn’t look too closely at a lot of the ruins, but did see the Amphitheater and the city as well.

My stop at the Acropolis in Athens portrays historical importance because throughout Ancient Greek history it was always an important landmark.

The Acropolis is one of many ancient fortresses in Greece. The Acropolis of Athens is located on top of a high rocky hill overlooking the city of Athens.
