My third day in Greece took me to Mycenae.
The Lion Gate is the main attraction here in Mycenae.
There’s a whole circle of royal tombs and a palace in Mycenae. The size of the ruins is very impressive, it’s hard to tell from the pictures but they’re HUGE.

This site shows the history of Greece, and its that rich history which has made it a great place for tourists like me to travel to. I really liked seeing the gravel circle, the Lion’s Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon. So much great archaeological sites in one country, I can’t wait for the next day of my Greek adventure.

Economically it is a place that is popular for tourists, especially because it also contains the Tomb of Agamemnon, which I plan to visit as part of my tour of this city.
